Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 17.07.2026
We attach the utmost importance to serving the entire public equally, including persons with disabilities. The site was designed and built to be accessible from day one, and we work continuously to maintain and improve its accessibility.
Under which laws and standards the site was made accessible
The site was made accessible in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments to Service), 5773-2013, pursuant to Israeli Standard 5568 (IS 5568) for the accessibility of internet content (based on the WCAG guidelines), at level AA.
What was done on the site to ensure accessibility
- A correct hierarchical heading structure and a single main heading on every page.
- A “Skip to content” link as the first keyboard item on every page.
- Full keyboard navigation and operation, with a visible focus indicator on every element.
- Standard-compliant color contrast across all text, including over images.
- No loss of content or function when text is enlarged up to 200%, and on mobile displays.
- Labels for all form fields and clear, associated error messages.
- Alternative text for information-bearing images.
- Respect for the “reduce motion” preference: all animations are switched off for anyone who requested it in their operating system.
- Videos on the site carry open (burned-in) Hebrew captions, with a full text transcript in Hebrew, English, and French.
- Accessibility is built into the site’s own code. In addition, every page offers a built-in accessibility menu (self-hosted, no third-party component) for larger text, increased contrast, stopping animations, highlighting links, and a readable font. Preferences are saved on your device only: a convenience layer on top of the accessible code, not a substitute for it.
How accessibility was tested
The site’s accessibility is tested on an ongoing basis with the automated axe testing tool on every page and in all of the site’s languages, through full manual keyboard-navigation testing, and by reviewing the semantic structure that supports screen readers. The site has been tested on the common browsers in their current versions (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge), on desktop and on mobile.
Known accessibility limitations
As of the date this statement was updated, we are not aware of any accessibility limitations on the site. If you nevertheless encounter a difficulty, we would be very glad to hear about it, and we will act to fix it quickly.
