Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16.07.2026 · version 2.0

We respect your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect on the site, why, what we do with it, and which rights you hold. Our commitment is simple: to guard the information, to sell it to no one, and to use it only for the purposes written here.

1. Who is responsible for the data (the database controller)

The information collected on this site is managed by “למען אחיי מפלגת כלל ישראל” (a registered party, registration no. 59-900211-0), operating under the brand “The Charedi Community”.

2. Privacy protection officer

Privacy inquiries are handled at contact@hatzibur-haharedi.org and answered by the party’s authorized representative. Should a dedicated privacy protection officer be appointed, their details will be updated here.

3. What information we collect, and how

We collect information only when you choose to provide it through a form on the site. Please note: the very act of joining a party’s activity indicates a political opinion, and the law therefore classifies such information as “information of special sensitivity”. We treat it accordingly: with heightened care.

4. What the information is used for (purposes)

We use the information solely for the following purposes:

We will not use the information for any other purpose.

5. Providing the information: voluntary only

You are under no legal obligation to provide us with information. Providing it depends on your wish and consent, and the only consequence of not providing it is that we will be unable to add your signature or get back to you. Nothing beyond that.

6. To whom the information is disclosed

We do not sell and do not transfer your information to anyone for their own use. To operate the site we rely on technical service providers (hosting and infrastructure) acting solely as “holders”: they are contractually bound to safeguard the information, use it only per our instructions, and delete it at the end of the engagement. The information is stored on servers in Israel (Google Cloud, me-west1 region), with authorized access only.

7. Updates and mailings

If you indicated interest in updates, we will send you campaign updates through the channels you chose. Consent to updates is separate and yours to give: it is not a condition for signing the petition or submitting any other form, and it can be withdrawn at any time. Every message will carry the sender’s identity and a simple way to unsubscribe (for example, replying “Remove”).

8. Your rights

Under Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, you hold the following rights, all exercised by writing to contact@hatzibur-haharedi.org:

We will handle every request and respond within a reasonable time, as required by law.

9. Data security

We take measures to safeguard the information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls limited to authorized personnel, and logging of operations performed on the data. Should a serious security incident occur, we will act and report as required by law.

10. How long the information is kept

We keep each type of information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was provided and for the campaign’s activity, subject to statutory retention duties. Asked for erasure? We will delete your information in line with your request and our legal obligations.

11. The voter register

To the extent that information from the official voter register is used, it will serve solely to contact voters ahead of the coming elections, as permitted by law. We do not cross-reference it with other sources, we do not transfer it to anyone, and it is destroyed at the close of the election campaign.

12. Cookies and usage measurement

The site runs a statistical measurement tool (Google Analytics 4) whose purpose is to understand and improve the use of the site. The tool is not loaded by default: it is activated only if you gave express consent in the consent banner, and you may refuse or withdraw consent at any time. Without consent, the site works in full, with no measurement at all. In addition, the accessibility preferences you choose in the accessibility menu (text size, contrast, and so on) are saved in the browser on your device only (local storage), are never sent to us, and are not used for measurement.

13. Minimum age

The petition and the sign-up forms are intended for those aged 18 and over.

14. Complaint to the Privacy Protection Authority

If you believe we have infringed your privacy, first of all we would be glad to hear about it and put it right (contact@hatzibur-haharedi.org). You are also entitled to approach the Privacy Protection Authority at ppa@justice.gov.il.

15. Policy updates

We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the latest update and the version number appear at the top of the page, and the binding text is the one published here.
