Aliyah and Integration
Every Jew, no matter where they're from, has the right to make Aliyah and build a home here. The State's responsibility does not end at Ben-Gurion Airport, but in real integration: livelihood, education, housing, and community.
The Land of Israel belongs to the entire Jewish people. Every Jew, from every country has the right to build a home here. At a time when many Jewish communities around the world face growing uncertainty and antisemitism, the State of Israel must open its gates to every Jew who wants to come home. Financial hardship, bureaucracy, language barriers, or concern about livelihood and community life must never stand in the way of Jews seeking to make Aliyah.
The state’s responsibility does not end at the moment of landing at Ben-Gurion Airport. Successful Aliyah requires full integration in employment, education, housing, and community life. New immigrants must receive the tools and personal support needed to remain in the Holy Land, build their lives in it, and feel comepletely at home.
Harzibur HaCharedi will work to significantly increase the budgets dedicated to encouraging Aliyah and supporting new immigrants, with particular emphasis on their professional, social, educational, and communal integration.
What We Will Change
1. Removing Barriers to Aliyah: Simplifying bureaucratic processes and accelerating Aliyah, preventing needless distress and delays for every Jew seeking to come home.
2. Professional and Career Guidance: Creating tracks for the recognition of overseas qualifications and adapted vocational training, so that every immigrant can earn a dignified living and enter the workforce while preserving their way of life.
3. Integration into Charedi communities: Developing dedicated accompaniment programs for the Charedi community, providing answers in housing, education, shuls, and respectful communal frameworks, so that no family is forced to choose between successful integration and preserving its identity.
4. Education and Spiritual Fit: Individual assistance for immigrant children in the education system, with an emphasis on institutions matching the family’s religious and cultural background, enabling every child to have a seamless transition and thrive without a compromise on education.
5. Multi-Year Accompaniment: Creating a continuing support framework beyond the first months of absorption, helping families reach long-term financial and social stability.
6. Support for Young Immigrants and Lone Soldiers: Expanding the support network for young people who made Aliyah without their families, and for lone soldiers. this includes housing, career guidance, and emotional support all along the way.
